Tree Removal
As much as we love trees, sometimes it is necessary to remove them. We offer complete removal services for trees that are: dead or dying, hazardous to the surrounding property and/or people, obstructing a pathway, and/or planted in an unsuitable location–among many other reasons. Our services include the complete removal of all wood and debris.
Tree Drop
Timber! If you have the space, we can simply cut the tree down and leave it as is.
Pruning
Pruning includes the removal of tree limbs for a variety of reasons:
the branches are dead, damaged, or diseased
the branches are crowded
the branches are hanging
the overall aesthetic, or look, of the tree
the branches are getting in the way
Stump Grinding
We also offer Stump Removal services. This includes grinding the stump 8 to 12” below ground level and then filling the hole with existing chips/dirt. We can leave the extra chips or haul them away at an additional charge. Please note: stump grinding charges are listed separately from other services on each proposal.
Debris Removal
With tree removals, we automatically haul away all wood and debris; however we also offer debris removal when other services are not needed. We are happy to remove any large piles of brush/debris that have accumulated on your property.
Elevation
Elevation includes raising the canopy or the bottom branches allowing clearance off of structures and/or more room under the tree.
Emerald Ash Borer Injections
For this service, a product called Imidacloprid is injected every 6-8” around the root flare of the tree. Injections can be done anytime between Spring and Fall. However, the sooner the tree is treated the better it’s survival rate. It is recommended to treat your Ash Tree before it starts showing signs of infestation. Studies have shown one treatment to last about two years.
Cabling/Bracing
In the event a tree’s structure may be compromised, cable and bracing rods can be installed to provide support. Cables are used between the limbs to help redistribute the load of weight; while bracing rods are used to support splitting limbs by bolting them together. Both of these options may benefit a tree in need; but it does not guarantee the tree will not fail in the future.
If your tree can be described as any of the following, it may benefit from cabling/bracing:
The trunk is a V or Y shape.
It looks like it is splitting.
The trunk or other large branches have cracks.
It produces a heavy crop of fruit or nuts.
There are areas of decay.
The root system is weak.
It was improperly pruned in the past.
Emergency Services
When weather conditions have put you or your property in a hazardous situation, we offer 24 hour emergency services to safely remove any fallen trees and/or limbs.
