Frequently Asked Questions.

What areas do you service?

COTC provides safe and efficient tree services to Fairfield County and it’s surrounding areas (depending on workload).

Can you give me an estimate over the phone?

To give a proper estimate, we must see your property in person. Every property and situation is different. Without seeing it in person we cannot know what equipment or tools will be required to complete the job.

Do I need to be home to get an estimate?

Technically, no; but we do prefer to speak to someone on our first visit to the property.

Do I need to be home while the work is being done?

No. When an estimate/proposal is written, notes and guidelines are included to ensure the crew can complete the job without needing further clarification or assistance from the homeowner.

Will my work be done right away?

Not unless it is an emergency. In the winter you can expect a 3 to 4 week turnaround. The summer is our busy season; so the turnaround time bumps up to 6 to 8 weeks.

Do you top trees?

No. Tree topping is an unacceptable practice that is harmful to trees.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Check, cash, credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, and Paypal are accepted forms of payment. Payment is due within 14 days unless another arrangement has been agreed upon prior to the service.

Do you work with HOAs?

Yes. We have worked with several HOA companies in the past.

Do you have proper insurance?

Yes. Please call (740-438-8990) or email (info@centralohiotreecare.com) the office for proof of insurance.

Will my yard be damaged?

We do our best to make sure your property is unharmed while the work is completed. If you have extra concerns about your yard, ground cover mats can be laid down to provide access for our machines without tearing up your grass. There have been many occasions where we have had to get creative to keep the property safe–but the job always gets done with little to no harm done.
